MMRV Catch-Up Vaccination Programme – Starting 1 November 2026

The MMRV (Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella/Chickenpox) single-dose catch-up programme will run in general practice from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2028.
Who is eligible?
Children born between 1 January 2020 and 31 August 2022 who have not previously had chickenpox or received two doses of a varicella-containing vaccine.
Key Information
  • Programme dates: 1 November 2026 – 31 March 2028.
  • Invitations: Eligible children can be invited for vaccination at any point during this period.
  • Call only: There is no requirement for a recall process.
  • Vaccination: Eligible children will be offered a single dose of MMRV.
