Keeping our patients and community informed

A Message from the Partners

Dear Patients,

As we welcome the summer months, we’d like to thank you for your continued support. In this edition of our newsletter, we’re excited to introduce new members of the team, share some wonderful personal milestones, and show how we’re supporting staff wellbeing at Heathcot.

New Faces at Heathcot

We’re delighted to welcome several new colleagues to our team:

·         Kate – Paramedic Practitioner

·         Jo – Remote Secretarial & Admin Support

·         Kremena – Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner

·         Kama – Interim Office Manager (maternity cover)

They bring fantastic skills, experience, and enthusiasm, helping us to meet the needs of our growing patient population.

Baby News!

Congratulations to our team members who’ve recently welcomed new additions to their families:
Kat, Anam, and Lindsay – we’re thrilled for you!

Best wishes also go to Marcela and Jody, who are expecting later this year.

Farewell and Thank You

We’ll be saying goodbye to our Clinical Pharmacist Brian this July. We thank him sincerely for his dedication and contributions to the practice, and we wish him every success in the future.

💙 Supporting Staff Wellbeing

We know that well-supported teams provide better care. Here’s how we’re promoting wellbeing at Heathcot:

·         Weekly lunchtime walks at each site, led by Dr Rob Grounds

·         Water machines available at all locations

·         Protected coffee breaks for all teams

·         Access to NHS staff mental health support and helplines

·         A Freedom to Speak Up culture, led by Dr Rahman, with plans for an external lead

🌟 Celebrating Excellence

We’ve launched a new staff recognition programme to celebrate outstanding contributions across the practice.

This quarter, we proudly recognise:

·         Linda Hing – for her leadership in triage and exceptional patient advocacy

·         Heidi Lambert – for her calm, approachable leadership and dedication to the COVID campaign

Thank you both for everything you do!

·         Social Events

Our recent team dinner in Woking was a fantastic evening filled with laughter, great food, and good company. It's wonderful to spend time together outside the busy day-to-day.

·         Stay Connected with Us

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) plays a vital role in shaping our services and improving communication between the practice and our patients.

If you would like to join our PPG please do contact that practice.

🗓️ Next PPG Meeting: TBC.

Thank you again for being part of the Heathcot community. We wish you all a happy and healthy summer!

Warm regards,
The Partners
